This informative, lively and interactive workshop focuses on getting it right, both from a legal and people perspective, to help you stay safe, tackle challenging employees as well as help you to learn why some people work harder than others!

NFAN Workshops are aimed at Farm Park owners and key staff. Each workshop doubles as a mini open day with a presentation from the host venue and a behind the scenes tour. Numbers are limited to ensure a successful workshop with time to ask questions.

Tea & Coffee will be served from 9.30am, the workshop will start at 10am and is due to finish at 3.30pm. Lunch is provided.

• Staying within the law when taking action
• Tips and advice on how to manage challenging situations
• The secret behind high performing employees

Meet the Facilitators

The workshop is led by Rob Coates, the founder of Willerby Hill HR and a Fellow of the CIPD. Rob holds an MSc in HRM, has lectured with the University of Lincoln and has worked with a range of farm attractions over the past 10 years.

The Venue

The Education workshops also double as mini open days, giving delegates an opportunity to see around the host farm park. During the day there will be a presentation from The Pink Pig about their business and an escorted tour.

Over 15 years ago Sally and Andrew Jackson decided to open a small farm shop and 24 seater café. They have been expanding ever since!

Today The Pink Pig includes an award-winning restaurant (NFAN Best Food & Beverage Award Winner 2013 & 2016), farm shop, outdoor play areas, indoor playbarn, toyshop and aerial trail.

There are 20 places available allocated on a first come first served basis. To enable as many members as possible to be represented we have an initial limit of two delegates per member.
